Rum Cake Center: Combine everything that you love in a Caribbean tour with tasty local treats. Your first stop will be at the world-famous Tortuga Rum Cake Center, where you can sample different types of rum cakes.
Sightseeing: Next, you'll continue your drive toward the colorful East End district and visit one of the highest points of the island, the Wreck of the Ten Sails Memorial. After you've enjoyed this top spot for exceptional viewing, you will explore the Blow Holes of Cayman. This scenic spot exhibits a geyser effect that occurs when water pressure in underwater caverns builds up and pushes out water (depending on weather conditions), creating blowholes.
Sample Local Fare: Next, proceed to a local restaurant in the East End district. Be greeted by friendly locals and get a chance to sample a traditional Cayman dish.
Shopping: Your journey will continue with a short drive back towards the district of Bodden Town. Guests will have the opportunity to view and purchase some locally handmade arts and crafts from the Cayman Islands, a location known for its wonderfully craftsmanship, abstract art and amazing souvenirs.
What’s Included:
Requirements & Restriction: Guests must be able to walk on uneven terrain and uphill as well as navigate approximately 12 steps. For safety reasons, tour is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties.
What to Bring: Comfortable, sturdy shoes and cash for purchases.
Good to Know: Children 5 years and under are free. You’ll have the opportunity to shop for rum cakes at the Rum Cake factory.
