
Eagle Preserve Rafting: Float through the heart of the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve on this relaxing rafting excursion. The preserve is home to a myriad of wildlife including the largest concentration of bald eagles in the world. Sit back, relax, and take photos while your guide rows you through a classic Alaskan wilderness. Your float is followed by a picnic lunch, hot beverages, and a scenic coach ride back to the pier.
What’s Included:
Requirements & Restrictions: Guests must be able to embark/disembark from bus, walk up to 164 ft. over uneven ground, sit-up on raft for up to two hours. Collapsible wheelchairs can be stored upon requests. Minimum age – 7 years. Maximum weight – 350 lbs. For safety reasons, pregnant women past 20 weeks may not participate on this excursion. Guests must be in good health.
What to Bring: Extra layers for warmth, extra socks, hat, gloves, rain pants, rain jacket, binoculars, and camera. Cash for purchases.
Good to Know: T-shirts sold on bus (cash only). It is colder on the river than on land. There is no whitewater on this tour.
