Great Green Macaw Release & National Park

Ara Manzanillo: After 12 years of successful reintroduction of critically endangered Great Green Macaws into natural hábitat, The Ara Manzanillo Project, known as Ara Manzanillo is dedicated to restoring and conserving wild parrot populations in the Caribbean Rainforest of Costa Rica.

Cahuita National Park: In this ecosystem, nestled in the Caribbean but with forest environment, you will find species such as raccoons, sloths, iguanas and basilisks. You will also notice snakes and tamagá, and birds such as the black hawk.
