Malecón: The Malecón in Progreso is a must-do day activity. Enjoy this beautiful boardwalk with wide sidewalks, great eats, friendly locals and lots of shopping and crafts. Many statues along the beach and places to take pictures like the letters of Progreso, a swing with Progreso written on tool for pictures, plenty of restaurants and food vendors. You will see sculptures of flamingos, sharks, pirates, boats, a pyramid, and many other things for fun photo opportunities.
Selfies by Segway: Put on your safety gear and enjoy the ocean breeze while your guide takes you for a boardwalk to a photo opportunity, it’s selfie time baby!! Your ride continues along the coastline for approximately 25 minutes until you arrive at El Haguay beach club.
El Haguay Beach Break: Visit one of the nicest private beaches in Progreso. This exclusive beach club offers several convenient amenities, such as a swimming pool, showers, changing areas, restaurant, and bar. Pull up a lounge or beach chair and sit back and relax listening to the waves rush to the shore. You can also find a spot near the pool beneath an umbrella. Gather your crew and join a game of beach volleyball.

Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age – 12 years. Maximum age – 65 years. Maximum weight – 250lb. For safety reasons, guests with back or neck injuries, asthma or heart conditions, and pregnant woman may not participate on this excursion. Closed-toe shoes are required.

Good to Know: Beach time is approximately one hour. Should you decide to stay a little longer at the beach club, staff can arrange private transportation to the pier shuttle station at your own cost.
