You will start the tour with a panoramic drive through the City of Arts and Sciences, which has become one of the most emblematic buildings in the new Valencia. Following Turia River’s shoreline, you will head to Valencia’s downtown, passing by the famous bullring, the Town Hall and Torres de Serrano. After this, you can admire the palace Marques de dos Aguas, and then continue doing a pleasant walk through the city’s old quarter. We will pass by the Central Market and the old stock exchange building, known as the La Lonja de la Seda, which is one of the most famous gothic monuments in Europe and was declared as Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO. Continuing your stroll, we will get to the Virgin Square. In front of it, you will see the Basílica de los Desamparados, and finally arrive to the Cathedral Square to do an outside visit. Enjoy a 40-minute boat trip exploring the fascinating San Jose Caves on a subterranean river with its unusually named caverns along the way – The Bat Cave, The Oven Door, The Dog Kennel, Diana’s Lake, The Siphon Gallery, The Blue Lagoon and The Medusa, to name a few. You will not be amongst the first visitors to this awe-inspiring place of natural beauty – there is evidence that our ancestors were doing cave paintings here around 14,000 years ago! The dim lighting, strange echoes and unusual rock formations make this visit unforgettable. After this, we will return to Valencia.
